I have a car and the longest I'm willing to drive to commute to school would be around thirty minutes. It'd be ideal to be within walking distance and if I'm in walking distance with places it would be nice to be in an area where I don't have to worry too much about going out on my own...

If anyone knows of good apartment complexes or areas in Atlanta that have a good environment and are relatively safe, I'd really appreciate some help! I don't know the area well enough to know where to start looking for a place and any guidance would be helpful!
