In the Loop mentions an art exhibit sponsored by Art at Work Program by Fulton County Arts Council. The art exhibited is made from recycled materials.
The gallery opens July 18, and will last through August 15, 2008. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
On opening day, the gallery will be open from 6.p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature not only the art, but also a nightlight making workshop (for $10), led by teen apprentice artists trained to instruct as part of the "Teen Teach" program. There is also a reception and silent auction. All art is available for purchase. Proceeds will go toward furthering the program, which helps at-risks teens ages 13 and up gain important skills and develop creativity.

I would like to see what kind of art they made with the reclaimed materials, and it's cool that there is a workshop to create some of your own art. Is anyone going to this gallery, or have you gone? What did you think?
