  • "Three Generations Of Fonda On Film"

Last night I attended "Three Generations Of Fonda On Film" at the Woodruff Arts Center. Jane Fonda hosted the event with her brother Peter, son Troy, and niece Bridgette. All the money raised will go to fund Jane's organization GCAPP (www.GCAPP.ORG)

I was lucky enough to have an all access pass into the "green room"

Ludachris, Tommy Lee and Big Boi were the celebrities I was  excited to see.........

The Live Auction took place before the Henry Fonda Tribute. My favorite auction item - a walk on part in TNT's " The Closer" created a biding war between my friend Beau Turner and a well known Buckhead socialite--- Beau won !!! He's so handsome he will probably get a permanet role on the show.
After the tribute my friends and I walked over to the W Hotel. We hung out at Jean George's Spice Market. Corinna Allen entertained us with stories about her recent trip to Shanghai . She flew on the Delta inagural direct Atlanta -Shanghai route.  All in all it was a action packed Monday night in Midtown !!!

  • The Opening of Hagedorn's Foundation Gallery

Paul Hagedorn opened a gallery where he is selling his own photography as well as other up and coming photographers. His profits go to 4 different charities. The gallery will be run by his two daughters.

He had a wonderful opening on Thursday night. All kinds of people from the Buckhead society to downtown and midtown came out to support the opening.

Spotted in the audience was Young Pak, a well know architect, as well as all the Peach Magazine people, which is currently my favorite magazine, which has featured a great article about Paul Hagedorn and his efforts.

The event introduced Atlanta to a new era of philanthropy. When you buy a photo from  the gallery you are essentially donating the money to the different charities.

I love the idea of teaching people about philanthropy, and knowing that your dollar is going to help others and at the same time you get a great piece of art.

The best thing about the event was that it brought together so many different people from Atlanta; young and old, from Buckhead to Midtown and Downtown.

The Gallery is located at 425 Peachtree Hills Avenue  Suite 25  Atlanta, Georgia 30305

  • Captain Planet At The Tabernacle

East Coast Captain Planet Party Tomorrow Night--- West Coast Capatin Planet party last Friday night in Los Angeles was amazing. Ted Turner , Tony Curtis and  Atlantic Station  developer Jim Jacoby  at the same event in the Shrine Auditorium. The crowd was dedicated to eco awarness and education. Tomorrow night's event will include Ted Turner and Jane Fonda as well as Jim Jacoby.. Auction items will include fabulous once in a lifetime trips and luxury items. World music with a Gipsy King beat will keep all of Atlanta's best dancing until midnight.

  • A Ride in a Bentley

My last night in Atlanta before heading off to Hong Kong. My friend picked me up in his vintage Bentley convertible. Perfect fall weather for a drive with the top down. Passed my neighbors and waved.....definitely felt like a princess. We arrived at Pauls in Peachtree Hills and had all eyes on us!!! The valet literally jumped out of his chair as we pulled in......the chef was waiting for us at our table. As he explained the specials my mind drifted off to my trip. So many people have given me their Hong Kong suggestions that I don't know where to go first. Knowing how crazy the week is going to be a quiet dinner with my friend was a real luxury. Driving back to my house in the Bentley....passing the beautiful old Buckhead estates.........looking up at the stars......I could only feel like the luckiest person in the world!
